Guardian HomesOur guardian home program has grown alongside our program. Unfortunately, as much as I wish I could, I cannot keep all the dogs in my program at my personal home. This would result in a kennel situation where the dogs would not get the proper love, care and socialization they deserve, Therefore I place puppies (or adults) for a reduced price to come and be a part of my program. Therefore, they can live a normal life but my program can also continue.

Guardian homes are forever pet homes for some of our breeding dogs. Our choice puppies that we hand select from a litter, the ones that we wish to continue the vision of our program for quality and health become available to these homes. Puppies live as pets in your home, you love, raise, train and socialize the puppy as you would any family member while we retain the breeding rights to the puppy.
To qualify to become a guardian home:
1. Puppies are not free, there is a cost associated with the getting the puppy. Depending on the length of the contract determines the cost of the puppy.
2. You must reside in Florida.
3. Must be able to provide a veterinarian reference.
We do not do co-ownership or guardian homes with other breeders. This opportunity is only available to families that will have the dog as a forever companion. (This includes other breeds of dogs/cats etc.)
For male guardians:
We will need to pick the dog up once he is one year of age to have his health testing completed at our veterinarian. After that when the male is utilized for stud services, we will need the male to go to the vet's office for artificial insemination. Males are the easier of the guardian home program as it only requires a few hours away from home a few times a year.
For female guardians:
Timing is a little more crucial and more involved during the breeding process of a female dog. Once the dog starts the heat cycle, she must go to the vet's office for continued progesterone testing to determine ovulation, once that is confirmed we schedule the insemination with the vet. After the insemination she is allowed to return home. Around 30 days after the breeding, she will need to go to the vet's office to confirm the pregnancy via ultrasound. If she is pregnant, she will return back to her guardian home till she is about 10-14 days before her delivery date. At that time we will pick up the guardian home female and monitor till she is ready for her caesarean. Once her puppies are weaned (normally 6-8 weeks after birth) she may go home.
After the contract is fulfilled, we will pay to spay the guardian female.
*all vet appointments for the breeding, progesterone and health testing are done and paid for by Blue Wonder Frenchies, you are not required to be present for the appointments*
